SWITCH BOARD OPERATORS - 3 POSTS Reports to: Station Supervisor

POSITION OBJECTIVE

Responsible for proper safe, efficient and economical operations of the plant

Principal Accountabilities

• Ensure company security and safety regulations are observed during operations and switching procedures of station equipment
• Responsible in restore the system in the shortest possible time during system plant fault/outages in order to minimum outages
• Responsible in reporting to respective maintenance department any improper operation.
• Responsible in preparation and submission in time weekly and monthly reports on the accuracy of time and accurate generation statistics.
• To carry out Visual inspections of equipments.

• Assigned any other duties as may be assigned by his supervisor.( no need for advert)

                                                                                                     

Key Knowledge, Experience and Skills you must possess:

• Form IV/VI
• Holder of FTC or Ordinary Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
• At least 1 year experiencein similar assignments

REMUNERATION
