Role Purpose We are looking for an experienced Mobile Network Deployment Engineer for a minimum 6 month contract to drive delivery of site deployment projects in Tanzania. Key Responsibilities The ideal candidate will need to have the following attributes: - Significant experience of managing the delivery of site deployment projects, preferably in Africa. - Ability to work with other operators in the context of network sharing. - Skills in managing different vendors to pull together an end-to-end site solution and deliver it on time - Good understanding of physical radio site design (towers, cabins, shelter, cabling, etc.) - Working knowledge of Radio BTS equipment from major vendor, with experience of GSM and UMTS. - Understanding of RF propagation principles and how these influence site design (antennas, tower heights, etc.) - Knowledge of different power models including solar, hybrid and diesel generator solutions. - Great communication and stakeholder management skills. The contract will be based in Tanzania, Africa, and we require someone to start immediately. Position Requirements - Bachelor Degree  and or Masters Degree in Telecommunication. - Previous working experience in Africa. APPLY
