We are advertising for the following post;
CIRCULATION MANAGER
Job Purpose:
A Circulation Manager will be responsible for the overseeing the entire distribution process of
the magazine. He/she have to make sure that the magazine reaches the selling points through
proper channels. He/ She have to ensure adequate supply of the magazines, and other printed
materials. He/she have to handle the packaging and delivery of the magazine and he/ she will
ensure that all magazines are distributed in a timely fashion, coinciding with any marketing,
advertising or promotional activities that may be related to it.
Circulation Manager Duties and Responsibilities:
• Sales planning and distribution of the Magazine
• Responsible for lobbying and maintaining the existing advertising customers.
• He/ she are responsible for increasing the subscription base of the periodical by devising
and implementing various promotional activities.
• Establishing and achieving business goals and communicates them to sales team
members.
• Watching distribution costs and ensuring efficient and timely distribution.
• Coordinating with outlets for proper stockings & achieving sales targets.
• He/ she maintain records of all sales performance, reporting progress to management.

Skills and Specifications:
• A candidate must be a self-starter. This is a fast-paced, high-pressure role
• Must have done the same job in the past.
• Must have good planning skills to ensure proper magazine distribution
• Excellent management and organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal, and selling skills
• A candidate must be able to thrive within a deadline-driven environment.
• Must be able to build and maintain strong relationships with others in order to get the job
done.
• Creativity in developing new sales strategies is also important.
Education and Qualifications:
Should have a college degree in Journalism, Mass Communication along with 2-3 years of work
experience in magazine marketing and sales is preferred. Or
A minimum of five years of professional experience managing all aspects of the circulation;
including billing, new subscriptions and subscriber renewals; of a publication of similar format
and size.
