Dear Mr. /Ms.:
- The Government of the Republic of Uganda (Client) has been allocated grant funds (the “Grant”) from the Trademark East Africa which are administered by TradeMark East Africa (the “Financier”) and executed by the Uganda Ministry of Works and Transport (“the Implementing Agency”). The Financier intends to apply the funds to eligible payments under the contract for which this Request for Proposals is issued.
- The Financier now invites proposals to provide the following consulting services (hereinafter called “Services”): providing consulting services for the design and supervision of the construction of one stop border post (OSBP) at Elegu , Uganda. More details on the Services are provided in the Terms of Reference.
A firm will be selected under Quality and Cost Based Selection proceduresand in a Full Technical Proposal (FTP) format as described in this RFP, in accordance with the set forth in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers which can be found at the following website: www.worldbank.org/procure which have been tailored to meet Uganda Ministry of Works and Transport and TradeMark East Africa ( TMEA ).
