VACANT POST: OPERATIONS MANAGER

Duty Station: Dar es Salaam

Reports to: The General Manager

Key Responsibilities Include:

1.To ensure availability of vetted and trained security guards at all times, working diligently to protect people and assets of our Clientsthroughout the country;

2.To ensure Branch Managers and Supervisors plan details and patrol guard posts in a professional manner as required;

3.Ensure availability of adequate firearms and communication systems, and their safe custody,repair

and use as per the laws of the land;

4.To ensure integrity of the payroll for the Security Guards;

5.Ready to work extra hours to manage incidences and meet multiple deadlines;

6.Carryout investigations of incidences and recommend timely corrective measures, liaising with Clients;

7.To liaise with the Police Force and other security organs on recruitment, firearms,and whenever necessary.

8.Recommend to the General Manager and Board of Directors service improvement and

cost cutting measures.

Profile/Key Competencies:

1.Degree or equivalent qualification, preferably inLaw,and previous working experience of not less than 5 years in the Police Force at a Senior Leadership Rank(SSP and above);

2.Ability to critically review operations of the company and recommend and implement remedy strategies;

3.Experience in running/operations of security business will be an added advantage;

4.Sound Leadership skills and Computer Literacy; and

5.Positive attitude to work, versatile, creative, team player, hardworking, good public speaker, capable of commanding and demanding respect, and capable of working extra time -day and night.
