Teaching Centre Resource Coordinator
Job Aim: To support the smooth running of British Council Khartoum Teaching Centre activity to clients’ and customers’ satisfaction, meeting Teaching Centre quality standards.
Main Responsibilities:
This post will support the administration function of the Teaching Centre at the British Council office in Khartoum. It is accountable for the pursuit of English language training programmes for organisations in the public and private sector, providing a high quality customer service to Teaching Centre clients and provision of high quality administration services through the Teaching Centre Resource Manger to the Teaching Centre Manager. Key duties are:
- Contract Delivery, Marketing & Customer Service: To deliver high quality teaching centre training. Ensuring that at all times the needs of Teaching Centre customers are met to Teaching Centre standards (including customer communication & initial complaints handling).
- Financial Management & Administration: including but not limited to procurement, reconciliations, accruals, invoicing, debtor management, audit preparation, payroll and cash flow. Support for operation of registration sessions & resource management, co-ordination for venues, teacher logistics, transport and any other related tasks.
- Scorecard Management: To support the collection, processing and reporting of monitoring and evaluation data gathered from placement testing, registration process and students in support of Scorecard and other evaluation requirements, as needed.
- Delivery of our Equal Opportunities & Diversity policy in relation to Teaching Centre work and in compliance with our policy on Child Protection.
- Contacts Database Management: To support effective target audience contact management through the maintenance of a contacts management database. To handle all correspondence related to Teaching Centre work.

Skills and Qualifications:
Marketing & Customer Service
University Degree or equivalent experience
At least 2 years working in a reputable client focussed organisation
High level of Arabic and English language (IELTS 6 or above equivalent) skills
