ASSISTANT UTILITIES ENGINEER
The purpose of the role is to ensure availability of all utilities machines and equipment. To maximize utilities equipment/machine availability and efficiency of operation through the planning/execution of planned preventative and maintenance schedules in accordance with Diageo and EABL asset care strategies.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
To service and maintain all the Utilities machinery together with the Technicians.
Responsible for improved performance in terms of both plant reliability and availability.
Develop and administer preventive maintenance and work order program for Utilities equipment.
Conduct root cause problem solving to permanently address issues in Utilities.
Requirement:
Bachelors Degree or Higher Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent.
EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 2 years working experience in the manufacturing industry as a Mechanical Technician
Excellent communicator and of good interpersonal relationship.

MECHANICAL ENGINEER-BREWING
The purpose of this role is to provide timely availability of process machinery in the brew house, DPV, filter, yeast drier and effluent plants. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
To support the process Engineer in supervising and organizing programmes for servicing and maintenance of the process machinery.
To execute actions in the maintenance schedules, Tebwa, Sires, RCPS together with the technicians.
Facilitate a daily Engineering consultative meeting for process status and action.
Supervise workshops and machine shop in production of various machinery components used in maintenance of the plant.
To develop and edit work order actions (PMs) in accordance with equipment upgrade, work hand in hand with technicians to tackle all Process completed jobs in SAP.
Requirement:
A Bachelors degree/Higher Diploma in mechanical Engineering or its equivalent.
EXPERIENCE
At least 3 years experience in a large food Processing industry.
Excellent communicator and of good interpersonal relationship.
SHIFT PACKAGING MANAGER
The shift Packaging Manager is responsible for ensuring shift planned Bright Beer Volumes are bottled and meet all the set quality specifications in order to meet the daily, weekly and monthly targets that match the sales forecast.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Ensure correct brand cut-offs, filling and all other packaging operations for efficient and timely availability of scheduled beer in the warehouses.
Give priority areas needed for weekly maintenance, supervise breakdowns and planned maintenance giving full consideration of Heath, safety and environmental issues.
Requirement:
Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
Brewing / Packaging Diploma from reputable university/college.
EXPERIENCE
At least 3 (three) years experience of packaging in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of factory rules and industrial relations, Environment regulations and waste management and control and Healthy and safety awareness.
Experience in food or drink manufacturing environment.
Experience in successful management of people performance and development.
HEAD OF PROCUREMENT
The purpose of this role is to define end to end procurement and Business Strategy within selected categories. Lead Cross functional team for both sourcing and supplier management. Define the needs of the market, understand local variances at design point and interpret into category excellence. Ensure learning and development of team member through performance reviews, regular updates, coaching and training.
THE ACCOUNTABILITIES ARE:
Assure availability for category with the right quality, service, cost, risk and growth support.
Ensure effective Risk Management and governance of all suppliers and services.
Give direction and guidance to buyers and Procurement controllers for all sourcing and suppliers management exercise and ensure their learning and development.
Build Key relationships for value with Key suppliers within the category
Focus on innovation and deliver innovative ideas through Supplier Innovation forum
Manage the implementation of the Global Procurement category strategies in the market.
Requirement:
A Bachelors degree in commerce or related qualification.
CIPS is an added advantage.
Experience
At least Five (5) years experience in line management, FMCG and functional procurement
