The Communications Officer will be responsible to generate a consistent, compelling suite of communications that will engage diverse audiences with APCA and with palliative care as a discipline.
Main areas of responsibility
To support the implementation of APCA’s communications strategy and to support the production of excellent multimedia communications materials, ensuring consistency and clarity of message.
To edit written documents provided by partners in accordance with the APCA style guide.
To provide organisational support for data asset management systems including: management of photo cataloging and contact databases.
To implement the membership strategy and increase active membership.
To liaise with the media and undertake public relations (PR) activities to increase APCA’s general profile and to promote specific advocacy messages.
