UNICEF IN RWANDA consultant for the Revision of the National Family Policy

Under the leadership of an International Consultant, the National Consultant will:

-Contribute to revising the National Family Policy taking into account the family values, current vulnerability and poverty profiles of different groups within the Rwandan society, and current changing family structure;
-Contribute to develop a Strategic Plan providing guidance on the implementation of the Family Policy.

The Policy will highlight background information and main policy actions for the promotion of the Rwandan family. The strategic plan will provide guidelines on how to implement the policy to ensure that it reflects both the current needs and aspirations of the Rwandan people.

The specific results will include:

i.Revised Family Policy
ii.Strategic plan of the policy implementation including a logical framework with key operational strategies, responsible institutions, cost of interventions and time lines necessary to implement the plan and a monitoring and evaluation plan.
