Who we are
Oxfam’s HECA Programmes
are complex programmes that incorporate both rapid and slow onset
emergencies as well as longer term development and policy work.
Oxfam applies a one
programme approach which means it has multiple activities that support a
holistic approach to humanitarian, development and advocacy for long
lasting change in poverty reduction.
In this case we are focusing on experience related to humanitarian response and areas of expertise: previous work in humanitarian response, whether they have worked with other NGOs, with the UN, International Federation of the Red Cross, etc.
Bearing in mind the linguistic diversity of the region, English, French, Arabic and Swahili abilities are very valuable.
As we anticipate the
potential increase in humanitarian response we are looking for
experienced humanitarians and are calling for applications for potential
roles listed below.
