Systems Analyst , Contractors Registration Board

The Contractors Registration Board is a Government Regulatory Board under the Ministry of Works, Transport and Communication established by Act of Parliament No 17 of 1997 with the objective to register and regulate all types of Contractors and to promote the development of their capacities for the purpose of protecting consumers of construction services in Tanzania.
In order to carry out its functions effectively and thereby meet its objective, the Board needs dynamic, creative and performance driven Tanzanian citizens to fill the following positions.

Systems Analyst

Qualifications:-
Holder of at least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field from a recognized institution. Should be an Expert in object oriented principles and design patterns with a passion for writing polished, well-architected code.
She/ He should also be Well versed in web, backend and database software development principles and must possess Experience in agile software development teams.
Must have at least 3 years of professional experience in Microsoft tools and technologies.

Specific knowledge and experience:

Hands on .NET web and application development using C#
Hands on developing reports using SSRS
Design I development of high volume web application in ASP.NET, both Web Forms and MVC
Architectural patterns like MVC, SOA, DI, etc.
Implementing and deploying web applications in llS
Database programming and relational schema design for SQL Server
Hands on experience writing unit tests
SQL Server 201 O Database administration and management
Working with heterogeneous systems

Duties:
1. Analysing existing programs, correcting errors, testing the changes to ensure desired results are produced
2. Designing, developing and maintaining the Board's software packages and application systems.
3. Administering computer systems by ensuring that all the time the systems are properly functioning and help users to
understand their operations.
4. Developing, adapting and supporting user-friendly interfaces to computer systems.
5. Appraising business systems performance and giving recommendations.
6. Creating backups for business systems, testing and updating contingency measures in accordance with the Board's policy
7. Performing other related duties as assigned by superiors from time to time.

AGE LIMIT:
The age limit for the positions is 40 years.
