Our client is a leading Telecommunication Company in Rwanda and is seeing to recruit result driven and motivated individuals for the above vacancy;
Reports to: Head of Planning
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To adapt MIC coverage and capacity guidelines to the operation.
- To ensure the enforcement of the guidelines by the cluster owners.
- To assist in the complation of the overall radio nominal plan for the network based on all inputs received from the cluster owners.
- To assist in securing the nominal plan in line with the coverage and capacity guideline (choice of BTS configuration and link budget)
- To assist in ensuring the nominal plan takes long term requirement into account (site grid) To assist in checking all presented frequency plans.
- To assist in documenting frequency plan strategy for the operations that considers all spectrum requirements.
- To overview radio utilization(TRX allocation, excess TRX,GPRS channels, Halaf Rate penetration) ensuring that the network is uded in an efficient and effective manner.
- To investigate advanced features/planning tecgniques that aim at overall CAPEX savings (TMBs,TMAs, higher power TRX,dual or twin TRX solutions,etc...)
Qualifications:
- Degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.
- 2-3 years experience in a similar role. Should have excellent computer skills.
- Should have good planning and organizational skills.
- Creative and Innovative.
- Curious to learn.
- Self confident and motivated.
- A team player with unquestionable integrity.
