The Northern Consortium (NCUK) (www.ncuk.ac.uk) is a leading provider of pre-university pathway programmes for undergraduate and postgraduate international students worldwide. Since 1987, NCUK has enabled over 20,000 students to study in our partner universities.
NCUK has a number of vacancies for Module Leaders for its International Foundation Year (http://www.ncuk.ac.uk/programmes/international_foundation_year)
The module leader's role involves the development and maintenance of the module's syllabus, the setting of examinations and the setting or approval of coursework assessments. Module leaders may be required to attend annual examination workshops which are generally held in NCUK's Manchester office.
Payment is made on a daily rate with expenses being paid for attendance at NCUK meetings. A module leader should normally expect between 4 and 12 days' work from NCUK in an academic year.
A module leader will have experience of teaching and examining students in the subject and at the level.
