PSI/Sudan seeks candidates for the position of Global Fund Manager to lead PSI’s efforts as the Global Fund Principal Recipient under Round 7 and Round 10 malaria grants for South Sudan. This individual will lead: the development, implementation and evaluation of national long lasting insecticide-treated mosquito net (LLIN) distribution campaigns; the introduction and promotion of artemisinin-combination therapy (ACT) through public and private distribution channels; and, support initiatives to enhance capacity for effective malaria programming within the Ministry of Health. The Global Fund Manager will be responsible for overseeing the effective operation of the PSI Global Fund Program Management Unit. This full-time position is based in Juba, South Sudan with approximately 40% travel within Sudan, and reports to the South Sudan Country Representative.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development and implementation of project strategies and activities in collaboration with government, donors and all other stakeholders
Ensure high quality and timely reporting to the Country Coordinating Mechanism (CCM) on all project aspects in accordance with Global Fund requirements
Monitor and ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of all project activities, including sub-grant management, financial and programmatic oversight, administration and procurement, and regular monitoring and evaluation including on-site supervision visits
Collaborate and coordinate with relevant programmatic, financial and technical staff at PSI headquarters and the Malaria and Child Survival Department
Oversee the Program Management Unit (PMU), including the supervision of all PMU staff
Ensure the integration of Global Fund malaria activities into the PSI/Sudan portfolio
Serve as the lead liaison between all partners, including but not limited to the National Malaria Control Program (NMCP), the Ministry of Health (MOH), the World Health Organization (WHO), partner NGOs, and all Round 7 and Round 10 sub-recipients
Act as the PSI Sudan primary point of contact with the CCM, Local Fund Agent, Global Fund Geneva the with support from the Country Representative

Qualifications:
Master's in a relevant field (MBA, MPH, MA, MPA)
At least 3-5 years of management experience
At least four years of work experience in a developing country
Demonstrated experience in developing and managing relationships with donors and governments
Proven experience in managing complex, donor funded programming
Experience in budget development and management
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Familiarity with Global Fund processes and procedures preferred
Technical knowledge of malaria strongly preferred

The individual will possess excellent communication, analytical, organizational, interpersonal and cross-cultural skills; a strong interest in private sector approaches to development; and a proven ability to produce results.
