Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS) is Tanzania's sole Standards body, formerly established by the Standards Act No, 30f 1975, which was repealed arid replaced by the Standards hit No.2 of 2009. It is aParastatal Organization under the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The Bureau is looking for suitably qualified, competent, dynamic and committed Tanzanians to fill the above mentioned vacancies:
Qualifications and &experience
Holders of Masters of Business Administration majoring in Marketing with twelve (12) years work experience in relevant field.
Duties and responsibilities
Reports to the Head of Section
Supervises evaluation of marketing research and development requirements of the Bureau
Coordinates Marketing research to provide information/statistics required for marketing planning and management
Supervises preparation of Marketing research plans including strategic or long term marketing development plans
Coordinates development and expansion of the market mix of the bureau with the view to diversify target markets
Supervises preparation of promotional materials
Accountable for the set up and analysis of the customer segmentation database which enhances strategic decision making
Performs any other related duties as may be assigned by the Head of Section
Remuneration
