Main responsibilities
The Deputy General Director is directly responsible for strategic objectives delegated by the General Director, as well as for the planning and monitoring of resources allowing the implementation of the strategic plan 2012-2015.
• Leadership role on key delegated objectives (ex: definition and implementation of a training resource centre, building of on-line services portal for field teams etc.);
• Long term strategies on resources, prospective management, involvement of OCG partners;
• Monitoring and evaluation of the strategic plan;
• General steering of headquarter annual plan of action process and review (pre validation of the HQ budget before DG review) to ensure consistency with strategic objectives; follow up of the execution;
• Daily validation of resources (FTE, budget) if planned in the POA (exceptions to be validated by DG);
• General risk management linked to resources (internal audit, legal, financial) and delegated strategic objectives;
• Upon requirement, initiation and steering of headquarter reorganisations, policies and processes with important transversal consequences;
• Steering of headquarter investments and functioning (infrastructures, office management, information systems);
• Steering of the regional office in Switzerland (Zurich);
• Daily management of the general direction team (senior assistant, chargé de mission, legal adviser).
