OVERALL DESCRIPTION
General Description of the Role
The overall aim of the post is to implement an effective REFLECT programme in Central Equatorial State – Juba. Ensuring the programme is meeting targets and has appropriate M&E system in place. This involves managing the REFLECT team in REFLECT operational areas, ensuring the REFLECT programme is represented internally with the other programme managers and externally to all relevant stakeholders.
Programme Management
• To participate in all the REFLECT trainings. i.e. Facilitators’ initial training workshop, Refresher training of the facilitators, income generating activities and book keeping training, circle and community leaders training.
• To ensure community involvement in all aspects of project planning, implementation and monitoring.
• To manage REFLECT Juba budget in consultation with the REFLECT Coordinator.
• To manage the REFLECT team in Juba and ensuring weekly and monthly work plans are in place.
• To compile weekly reports of the REFLECT programme.
• To compile monthly progress reports for the REFLECT programme. In collaboration with the REFLECT Coordinator.
• To prepare REFLECT monthly funds request on timely basis.
• To track all financial payments made in connection with programme activities.
• To be responsible for monthly payment of incentives to all REFLECT facilitators.
• To ensure beneficiary registers and other REFLECT documents are filled and kept in a safe place.
• To ensure all activities in the REFLECT manual are carried out by the REFLECT team.
• To ensure the facilitators are applying REFLECT methodology
• To ensure integration with other GOAL programmes, i.e. health, WASH and LLH.
• To manage all M&E for the programmes, with the support of the REFLECT Coordinator and M&E Coordinator.
• To manage the provision of IGA items / cash provision to the participants according to their business plan.
• To organize quarterly meeting for the REFLECT Team.
• To liaise with Logistics Manager regarding procurement and management of programme inputs.
• To ensure quarterly exams have been conducted by each facilitators and the results were entered into the REFLECT monitoring spreadsheet
• To assist REFLECT Coordinator in writing proposals to donors.
• To assist the REFLECT Coordinator in organizing and facilitating Donors’ visits to the project area.
• To carry out any other duties as assigned by the REFLECT Coordinator.
Required:
• Graduate Degree / Diploma in social and economic studies / Community development
• At least 3 years experience in managing income generating programmes.
• Fluent in spoken and written English. Knowledge in Arabic, Dinka, Bari and Uduk languages will be an advantage.
