Duties and Responsibilities:

* Providing technical advice and guidance to stakeholders.

* Preparing technical specifications of contracts.

* Supervising all the technical works in the Municipality.

* Preparing work plans and budgets for the technical works in the Municipality.

* Approving buildings and other structural plans.

* Developing and maintaining water and sanitation systems.

* Enforcing engineering and works policies.
Requirement:

* Should hold an Honouis Bachelor of Science C in Civil Engineering from a recognized Universtty oi Institution.

* Should also have a minimum of a post graduate qualification in an Engineering related discipline.

* Should be a registered Engineer with Uganda Engineers Registration Board (UERB).

* At least 6 years in a civil engineering job three of which should have been at head of section level, three of which should have been serve at the level of Senior Engineer (Civil).
