Financial Accountant

Applications are being invited from suitably qualified persons for the position of Financial Accountant with a fast growing Seed Company based in Arusha, Tanzania.

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Managing Director and should have the following:

• Degree in Accountancy
• ACCA, CIMA or Higher National Diploma in Accountancy
• Computer literate with good knowledge of accounting packages eg. ACCPAC.
• Three or more years experience as an Accountant
• Excellent understanding of accounting procedures
• Strong communication skills
• Good team leadership skills
• Ability to work under immense pressure
• Credit management skills
• Ability to produce accurate accounts, budgets and forecasts on time
• Ability to produce year end financial statements
• Ability to handle external audit alone
• Able to produce cash flow projections.
• Competent in production of tax computations and tax planning with assistance from HO.
• Able to review and suggest improvements in internal control systems
