The Roads Fund Board is Government Institution under the Ministry of Works, Transport and Communication established by the Roads and Fuel tolls Act, CAP 220 of 2006. The Board invites applications from suitably qualified Tanzanians to fill the, following vacancy.
2. PRINCIPAL ENGINEER II – RE-ADVERTISED 1 post (Dar es Salaam)
(i) Qualifications and Experience:
Holder of Master Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institution. He/she must be registered as a Professional Engineer, with a post registration working experience of at least nine (9) years in a reputable institution in the road sector. Experience in the road management systems will be an added advantage.
(II) Main Duties and Responsibilities
Among the duties and responsibilities that he /she will be required to perform are:-
(a) To coordinate the preparation of performance agreements between the Roads Fund Board and the implementing Agencies;
(b) To review progress reports from Implementing Agencies and assess their compliance with : performance agreements;
(c) To supervise monitoring of the implementation of road works by the Agencies/local Authorities;
(d) To coordinate the preparation and implementation of strategic plan;
(e) To review annual programmes budget and action plan of Implementing Agencies and advise '} accordingly;
(f) To coordinate the preparation of annual, quarterly and monthly reports of the Roads Fund Board and;
(g) To perform such other related duties as may be assigned.
(iii) Personal attributes
He/she should be able to work diligently long after office hours, promote team work, to III comprehend and communicate, effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure a: environment.
(iv)Terms of engagement
