Country Manager , Aga Khan Education Service, Tanzania (AKEST)

The Aga Khan Education Service, Tanzania (AKEST) is a non-profit service company, registered under the Companies Act, and operates four private schools in Tanzania, that provide affordable quality education. It is part of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN), a group of private development agencies working to improve living conditions and opportunities for people of all faiths and origins in specific regions of the developing world.
The Aga Khan Education Service, Tanzania is now seeking to fill the position below within its establishment.

Country Manager

Role Summary

The Country Manager will be responsible for leading the ambitious change agenda for Aga Khan Education Service, Tanzania. This will include bringing efficiencies to the management and operations of the schools and raising the profile of the Aga Khan Schools in Tanzania. This is a senior management position within AKEST and a vitally important role with genuine transformational potential. -

The successful candidate will be a visionary and dynamic leader with entrepreneurial instinct, and a proven ability to lead strategic change. S/He should be willing to dedicate the next 5 years' employment at AKEST.

Qualifications and Experience:
A relevant Master's degree, preferably an MBA
A minimum of 10 years senior management experience
Demonstrable experience and success in managing operations, financial and human resources
Experience of successfully leading and managing significant change
