The National Museum of Tanzania (NMT) is a body corporate established by the Act of Parliament No 7 of 1980. It is an educational, scientific and cultural institution charged with the duties of collecting, conserving, displaying and researching on all materials relating to Tanzania's cultural and natural heritage. NMT is inviting applications from dynamic, dedicated, self- motivated, energetic and proactive Tanzanians to fill the following vacant positions:
HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER II -3 POSTS
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Collects, analyses, tabulates and maintains personnel data and statistics
Assists in the administration of recruitment and staff allocation
Assists in office management, personnel management and industrial relations and staff welfare
Assists in drawing up manpower plans, training and career development programmes
Ensures that all estates, fixed and other properties are properly insured
Assists in identifying manpower needs and proper utilization of human resources
Ensures that machinery and other office equipment's are well maintained
Working closely with various departments, increasingly in a consultancy role, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures; .
Interpreting and advising on employment laws, policies and regulations
Promoting equality and diversity as part of the culture of NMT
Performs any other related duties may. be assigned by superior
Entry Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Public Administration, Human Resources
Management, Personnel Management, Business Administration or Industrial Relations with a minimum of 3.3 GPA degree.
Age: Not more than 40 years for those who are not in Public
Service
Salary scale: PGSS 7.1
