Revenue and Reservation Manager , Tanzania
The Revenue and Reservation Manager is a key leadership position within the Hotel that holds responsibility for controlling room rate and availability in order to maximize occupancy and revenue. In conjunction with the Director of Sales and Marketing, they coordinate group inventory and allocations and develop and implement policies and procedures pertaining to the revenue management of reservations function. They are responsible for the overall management of the Reservations Department and Revenue Management activities of the Resort to achieve budgeted goals; understanding and applying the principles of occupancy and rate to achieve maximum yield.
Requirements
We are looking for individuals who are strategic, analytical, have solid business acumen, good communication skills and strong leadership skills.
Applicants are required to have three to five years experience of Reservations and Revenue Management. A Finance or Hospitality Management Degree qualification is preferred, however, not essential with previous relevant experience.
Some travel is required for training, conferences and special events.
