Kahama Shinyanga Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (KASHWASA) is a fully autonomous public water utility established to operate a water supply scheme from the Lake Victoria to Shinyanga andKahama towns, as per Government Notice No. 45 of 23rd February, 2007. The establishment of the Authority was in accordance with the Waterworks Act. Cap. 272, which has been repealed and replaced by the Water Supply and Sanitation Act, 2009. The Authority is based in Shinyanga Municipality and is charged with the responsibility to supply bulk water to other water entities including the water supply and sanitation authorities in Shinyanga and Kahama towns as well as 41 Village Water Committees located in Misungwi, Kwimba, Shinyanga and Kahama Districts.
KASHWASA wishes to recruit suitably qualified Tanzanians to fill the following vacant posts:-
Reporting to:Accountant
Duty station:Head Office, Shinyanga Municipality
Qualifications:
Holder of a Diploma in Accountancy and NBAA full ATEC. He/ She must be computer literate.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare payment vouchers.
Receiving cash/cheques from customers and keep record of the same in the cash book.
Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements.
Daily filing of all financial transactions.
Performing any other duties as may be assigned by Accountant.

In service employees must posses the above qualifications and have at least four (4) years working experience and a good track working record.
Age Limit
Not above 45 years for all posts.
