AfriAfya has been implementing a 5-year project " Strengthening HIV Strategic Information in Kenya" since September 2009. The project’s purpose is to develop and support implementation of monitoring and evaluation strategies and tools to track programmatic activities and, report for decision making and project improvement.
The incumbent will provide training and monitoring support to the project so as to ensure efficient and effective organization and implementation of training activities.
Specific Areas of Responsibility will be:
a) Developing, adapting and reviewing training curricula and materials
b) Participating in recruitment of external trainers and resource persons to facilitate training courses
c) Preparing financial, technical and management training reports
d) Documenting and disseminating information on training activities
e) Organizing, coordinating and facilitating training sessions
f) Liaising with the various partners and stakeholders to ensure that training activities take place as planned

The candidate should have a first degree in Education or social sciences or Public Health. At least 5 years experience hands-on experience at a supervisory or management level in training programmes with at least 2 years experience in training (TOTs). The candidate should have good computer skills, be an excellent communicator and a team player.
