TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT

1. Position: Senior RF Planning and Optimization Engineer

Reports to: Head of Planning

Summary of Job Description

To issue and to enforce coverage and capacity planning guidelines for the operation.
Minimum Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering
2 – 3 years of experiences.
2. Position: NSS Operation Engineer

Reports to: Head of operation

Summary of Job Description

To operate the Network Switching Subsystem securing 99.999% availability and performing support activities (routine maintenance, level 2 maintenance). To implement the network changes initiated by the Planning function issued through Work Orders. To perform acceptance tests and integration activities in case of new node/feature.
Minimum Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering.
Two years’ experience in Telecom, Have a good background in the telecommunication industry preferably in the Core NSS Operation or Support capacity, construction standards.


IT DEPARTMENT

1. Position: Database administrator

Reports to: BI and Data Warehouse Manager

Summary of Job Description

The Database Administrator’s role is to design, install, monitor, maintain, and performance tune production databases while ensuring high levels of data availability. This individual is also responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing database policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of databases and their accompanying software.
Minimum Job Requirements

Bachelor Degree or Masters in Information Technology and Computer Science
3 or 4 years equivalent work experience.
2. Position: LOCAL / REGIONAL ARCHITECT

Reports to: CIO

Summary of Job Description

The Regional Architect (RA) has complete ownership of the relationship between Factory and their dedicated portfolio of customers.  They will be direct accountable individuals for the entire life cycle of the multiple solutions under their responsibility, guaranteeing accuracy, quality and time line accomplishment. Their goal is to gain a complete understanding of the client’s needs and effectively communicate them to the software factories.
Minimum Job Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (System Engineer, IS Engineer, Information Systems Engineer, IT Engineer, Network Systems Engineer)
Post graduate and/or courses in Software Architecture
Minimum 4 years experience working in the IT industry (Telcos preferably)
Understanding of project management principles
At least 3 years of UML experience
Proved project management experience in CRM, ERP and Billing. (For Telcos preferably)
Minimum 5 year experience in software development using software factory methodology and SOA Architecture (Telcos preferably)
Experience in Business Processes for Telcos (eTOM Model preferably),  contract management (Software factory preferably).
3. Position:  Billing officer        

Reports to: Billing Manager

Summary of Job Description

To take care of matters related to roaming in the billing system.
 Minimum Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Information Technology, Finance
2-3 years of experience in Billing field


FINANCE DEPARTMENT

1. Position: General Accountant

Reports to: Financial Controller

Summary of Job Description

Perform accounting and other tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.
Minimum Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Audit, Accountant
3 or 4 years in Audit  and Accounting
2. Position: Payable Officer

Reports to: Payable Manager

Summary of Job Description

Perform accounting and other tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.

Minimum Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Auditory, Accounting.
1 – 3 years of experience.
3. Position: CAPEX/Financial Analyst

Reports to: Financial Planning and Reporting Manager

Summary of Job Description

Analyze and follow up on capital expenditures.
Minimum Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Auditory, Accounting.
1 – 2 years of experience.


CUSTOMER SERVICES DEPARTMENT

1. Position: Customer Service Walkin TL

Reports to: Customer Service Manager

Summary of Job Description

Stimulating innovation and consumer focus throughout the operation
To supervise customer service executives in the provision of smooth and efficient customer service delivery to the satisfaction of subscribers and in accordance with company policies and procedures
Minimum Job Requirements

Bachelor degree, business/service oriented
2 years Operational experience in customer service or marketing


MFS DEPARTMENT

1. Position: Tigo Cash Commercial Manager

Reports to: Head of MFS

Summary of Job Description

You are responsible for building the demand side of Tigo Cash to drive the penetration of active users and raise the Tigo Cash ARPU.
This will be achieved by leading efforts in Commercial partnerships and Product innovation
You will also be expected to contribute to the leadership of the Tigo Cash team providing support to colleagues and encouraging their growth and development.
Minimum Job Requirements

MBA or Degree in Marketing in Sales and Distribution/Marketing.
3 – 4 years of experience.


GTM DEPARTMENT

1. Position: Direct Distribution Supervisor (6) (north, South, East, West, Kigali)

Reports to: Dealer Channel Manager

Summary of Job Description

Working with Dealer’s team monitoring Dealer Salesmen’s field performance
Ensuring they comply with the Basic Routine and work with discipline and processes as defined by Tigo
Minimum Job Requirements

University degree or equivalent, preferable Bachelor in business administration/Marketing/Business/Engineering
2 years of managerial experience with field and operation experience preferable in FMCG
Without Bachelor degree, 5 years of operational experience with field and operation experience
2. Position: Tigo Cash Regional Supervisor

Reports to: Head of TM – Tigo Cash

Summary of Job Description

You are responsible for supporting all efforts developing Tigo Cash distribution network in your territory.  This includes managing the logisitics and processes of agent recruitment, liquidity management and promotional activities.  You will be a highly motivated and autonomous person who shows initiative in identifying opportunities to grow Tigo Cash in your territory.
Minimum Job Requirements

University degree or equivalent, preferable Bachelor in business administration/Marketing/Business/Engineering
2 years of managerial experience with field and operation experience preferable in FMCG
Without Bachelor degree, 5 years of managerial experience with field and operation experience
3. Position: Tigo Cash Trade Marketing Supervisor

Repor0ts to: Head of TM – Tigo Cash

Summary of Job Description

You are responsible for Tigo Cash trade marketing.  This means that you will work closely with the GTM Distribution team to gather and analyze market intelligence, as well as organize deployment and management of branding in the Tigo Cash Agent network.  When the Tigo Cash Merchant network is established, this will fall within your scope of POS to manage as above.
Minimum Job Requirements

University degree
1 year of Managerial experience in customer service
2 to 3 years of Operational experience in a sales team
Experience in MFS preferred
4. Position: TM

Reports to:  Head of Territory Management

Summary of Job Description

General management of the territory
Managing P&L of territory to achieve overall business goals
Developing logistics for POP material distribution and training to sales channels.
Selling the offer to consumers, including development of street dynamics
Minimum Job Requirements

University degree, preferable in business administration/engineering
MBA is a plus
Senior managerial experience with field and operation experience preferable in FMCG
5. Position: Direct Sales Force

Reports to:  Head of Territory Management

Summary of Job Description

Support Regional Manager to achieve activation and sales objectives, working in accordance with MIC’s policies and procedures

MARKETING DEPARTMENT

1. Position: Promotions & Sponsorships Coordinator - 2

Reports to: Brand Communication Manager

Summary of Job Description

Developing, coordinating and executing events for brand positioning
Accomplishing and following up budget for events and public relations
Planning and accomplishing sponsorships that strengthen Tigo brand positioning across market segments
Minimum Job Requirements

University degree, preferably in marketing, social communication, corporate communications or business administration
Experience in events and/or PR management
2. Position: Business Analyst - Segmentation

Reports to: Consumer & Market Understanding Manager

Summary of Job Description

Segment definition: project management, both with internal (data mining) and external (research agencies) resources
Database maintenance & updates: run the process for new subs on a monthly basis to assign them to their most representative segment and re-segment non users with changes in their consumption
Micro-Segmentation: digging deeper into specific segments (individual post-paid, SMS users, etc.)
Segment Performance tracking: for all segmentation products and services understanding of impact on KPIs (ARPU, churn, revenue, gross margin, etc)
Training category and innovation teams
Minimum Job Requirements

University degree, preferably in marketing, communication, engineering or business administration
MBA or master student
Experience in commercial information analysis for decision making
Experience in building market segments and understanding consumer behavior


COMMUNICATION AND ENTERTAINMENT CATEGORY

1. Position: Offer Design (specialist)

Reports to: Communication & Entertainment Category

Summary of Job Description

Develop the massive and the segmented offer for all the products in your Category. Analyze the consumer behavior and the competitor’s actions. Define the pricing strategies and revenue management actions that maximize revenues, gross margin and market share. Implement the Segmented Product Definition Process. Create and track segmented product offers in close collaboration with Customer Understanding. Continue monitoring the performance of the products in your Category and actively take appropriate actions to improve results.
Define the right offer for the right segmented customer with the optimal price for each product. Increase the product consumption per customer and convert non-users to users of current products. Responsible for penetration of new products.
Understand MIC’s strategy and manage in accordance the campaigns and product promotions.
Minimum Job Requirements

2 + years of proven pricing and product management experience.
Managerial experience in medium to large size organizations.
Proficiency with the MS Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Project and Visio.
University degree in technology / engineering / business administration or related area, MBA is desired.


CORPORATE DEPARTMENT

1. Position: Indirect  Channel Supervisor

Reports to: Head of Corporate Service

Summary of Job Description

To take care of matters related to the Indirect Sales Channels.
Minimum Job Requirements

Bachelor Degree  in Management, Marketing or Finance
1 or 2  years in Sales Team Management
2. Position: Corporate Account Executive

Reports to: Corporate Manager

Summary of Job Description

Visiting Corporate clients on a monthly basis
Inform clients about new products or services from Tigo
Ensuring customer loyalty and leading Tigo customer loyalty programs
Sharing customer feedback and insights to relevant partners
Ensuring payments by all Corporate Clients inside their portfolio
Optimizing customer contacts and up selling/cross selling
Achieve the sales objectives for the team
Participate in all training and have a knowledge of all Tigo products and services
Prepare and send the daily, weekly and monthly reports asked by Management
Manages retention policy
Minimum Job Requirements:

University degree, business/service oriented
Operational experience in customer service or marketing
