Frankfurt School of Finance & Management is seeking a Deputy General Manager for their ongoing fund management mandate at the Fund for financial inclusion in DR Congo. The Fund for Financial Inclusion works as an Apex institution. It extends refinancing facilities, mainly senior debt and technical assistance to Partner Financial Institutions (PFIs) consisting of banks and MFIs in DRC.
Frankfurt School of Finance & Management is seeking a Deputy General Manager for their ongoing fund management mandate at the Fund for financial inclusion in DR Congo. The Fund for Financial Inclusion works as an Apex institution. It extends refinancing facilities, mainly senior debt and technical assistance to Partner Financial Institutions (PFIs) consisting of banks and MFIs in DRC.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Support the general manager in all strategic and operational issues related to the management of the Fund;
- Contribute to development of strategic documents: business plan, action plans, and budget;
- Identify funding/grant needs from PFIs;
- Participation in due diligence and detailed assessment of funding applications from PFIs;
- Monitoring of disbursements, reimbursements, and commitments;
- Treasury management.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years experience as an investment manager, due diligence expert or development finance expert;
- Minimum Master’s degree in finance, business or economics;
- Work experience in developing countries (previous experience in Africa would be an asset);
- Experience in managing technical assistance projects would be an asset;
- Willingness to travel country-wide in DRC and abroad;
- Capacity to meet tight deadlines;
- Good communication skills/proficiency in French and English.
