Sandvine Channel Manager (Sub-Saharan Africa)
Reporting to the Vice President Alliances, the Channel Manager, Africa will be a key member of Sandvine’s Global Alliance team, recruiting, developing and fostering long-term channel relationships at all levels across the region.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining key relationships with key channel partners
- Coordinating channel opportunities with SI partners and the Sandvine sales team revenue
- Coordinating all aspects of channel development closely with the Sandvine Global Alliance team
- Positioning Sandvine as the key network policy controls solution provider within relevant reference architectures
- Remaining abreast of competitor distribution strategies and recommend approach to ensure effective competitive positioning

Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of sales/channel experience with demonstrated success in selling new products/services via large channel partners in Africa
- Demonstrated success in a start-up environment against established leaders such as Cisco, NSN, Ericsson and Alcatel-Lucent considered an asset
- Demonstrated ability to aggressively grow revenue via a Tier One channel in a fast paced, dynamic organization
- Demonstrated ability to produce high volume and high quality results working independently, with limited support infrastructure
- Strategic thinker with an extensive network of established relationships within the broadband and mobile industries
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Willing and able to travel (60%.)
