Programme Manager – South Sudan
Norwegian People’s Aid is seeks an experienced Programme Manager to run the largest Mine Action programme in NPAs portfolio with over 200 national employees and a yearly budget of 8 mill USD from a broad donor base.
Norwegian People’s Aid has been involved in humanitarian mine action since 1992 and is one of the leading humanitarian demining organizations worldwide. Currently NPA has 30 on-going Mine Action Programmes in the Balkans, Africa, Central Asia, South East Asia, South America and the Middle East.
NPAs Mine Action have been operational in South Sudan since 2004, and today the Mine Action Programme have a support base in Yei , Central Equatoria, with flexible field assets deployed in several South Sudanese states as well as smaller tasks abroad. The programme combines manual, mechanical and mine detection dogs (MDD) assets in survey, clearance, cluster clearance and EOD operations as well as capacity building of national authorities and internal staff.
