Desired Skills & Experience
- A high level (Masters Degree or equivalent) academic qualification;
- At least 7 years experience working on USAID funded programmes in sub-Saharan Africa.
- Thoroughly acquainted with USAID rules and regulations;
- An excellent writer and communicator;
- A strong project manager;
- Willing and able to share their knowledge with a supporting KPMG in-house team.

The IDAS unit focuses on understanding clients' organisations and operations, and supporting them in delivering their development programmes. The core of our work is in advisory and audit assignments for donors, for example providing grant management services, supporting the development and operationalisation of Private Sector Development and Governance enhancement programmes, and supporting the development and performance of donor and civil society organisations. We also provide audit and assurance services for many donor and civil society organisations.
IDAS are looking to recruit an experienced and proficient USAID bid-writer for a short-term contract (3 months from January 2013) with the option to extend subject to performance.
