We are currently seeking applications for PE teachers for 2013 starting in early January. If you are looking for a challenge, fancy yourself living inAfrica, are a qualified PE teacher with plenty of energy and a love of sports, then this position is for you! And it all takes place in an environment of professional support with modern facilities where English is spoken.
You will be working directly with a staff of Tanzanian teachers, reporting directly to a Tanzanian Headmaster and Deputy. You will be professionally and personally supported in your role by colleagues, an established teaching community and other volunteer staff during your engagement. There is also the possibility that you will have the privilege of being able to train local staff within the PE department.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver the PE curriculum
- Work alongside Tanzanian staff and teachers
- Reporting to Tanzanian Leadership Team
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor of Education from an internationally recognized University
- A minimum of 3 years teaching experience
Skills:
- An ability to work flexibly, with patience, reflection and independence
- An ability to model good practice in all aspects of teaching
- An ability to work alongside a team of local teachers
- Strong inter-personal and communication skills
