Inveneo is seeking a Network Operations Engineer who will help us stand up NOCs (network operations centers) to monitor and support telecommunications networks in the rural and developing world. We’re definitely not looking for a router jockey. This is a unique opportunity for a person with significant network support operations experience to shape how Inveneo supports its networks, and to play a role in defining a replicable framework for supporting networks in locations as diverse as Haiti, Kenya, Rwanda, and beyond. The successful applicant should have a healthy dose of network curiosity: the interest that drives an engineer to go beyond “it’s not working” to “this is why, and here’s how we keep it from happening again.” Inveneo’s engineering team is small and agile. Our engineers must be technical generalists able to adapt quickly to unpredictable conditions and unforeseen technical challenges.
