As a member of the Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) team you will help clients assess, design and develop solutions that allow them to manage diverse risks through a consistent, coordinated, and sustainable strategy. PwC's approach is a principle-guided, scalable method that integrates governance, risk and compliance activities into a manageable and sustainable process.
You will be required to:
- Utilize thorough Operational Risk and ERM knowledge to assist businesses with the assessment and improvement of their risk management processes and program;
- Apply regulatory compliance knowledge to assist businesses with understanding regulatory compliance requirements and developing solutions to meet these requirements;
- Utilise industry standards and best practices to assess, advise, design, and/or recommend complex, enterprise-wide, regulatory compliance, risk management, and/or internal audit organization structures, policies and procedures, methodologies, toolkits, and templates;
- Demonstrate thorough abilities to perform the following as it relates to Governance, Risk Management: program evaluation, risk assessment, controls identification and testing, regulatory audits, industry specific regulatory compliance;
- Identify and address client needs: managing engagements including preparing concise, accurate documentation;
- As a team member: creating a positive environment by monitoring workloads of the team while meeting client expectations and respecting the work-life quality of team members; providing candid, meaningful feedback in a timely manner; and keeping engagement leadership informed of progress and issues.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum experience of 3 years in Risk Management, Compliance, Security, and/or Internal Audit;
- A minimum of an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Information technology or business related field;
- Knowledge and experience in corporate compliance, risk management or internal audit including developing and assessing corporate compliance and/or risk management programs, constructing, monitoring and auditing programs, managing internal risk assessments/investigations;
- Professional certification in any of the following; CPA, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CIA; and
- Proficiency in French and/or Portuguese is essential.
