Responsibilities/Duties:
Participate in M&E support supervision and data quality assessments of CSF funded Civil Society Organizations (CSOs)
Mentor and coach CSOs in data collection, analysis and reporting.
Participate in data analysis of the CSOs information collected in the CSF database.
Participate in compiling CSO quarterly and annual sen/ice statistics.
Provide technical support to CSOs in response to data entry queries.
Participate in cleaning of data before and after it is entered into the CSF databases.
Help in updating the CSO contact database/lists.
Help in maintaining a good filing system for CSF funded CSO’s documents such as reports and other contractual documents.
Provide assistance in organizing workshops, field activities and in preparing relevant resource materials.
Participate in reviewing CSO reports and providing appropriate feedback to the CSOs.
Assumes any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
This is a professional position. The Program Officer is responsible for provision of support to program activities. He/ She assists the program team in carrying out the day-today program activities. The Program Officer reports to the Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist
Requirement:
Required Experience and Academic Qualifications:
A relevant Bachelor’s Degree with at least 3 years of professional experience in HIV/AIDS service provision or health related fields.
Excellent computer skills including excellent knowledge and experience in MS office applications and other data processing and graphical presentation software.
Ability to independently plan and execute complex tasks while addressing daily management details and remaining organized and focused on long term deadlines and strategy highly desirable.
Good writing skills
Team players who work well under deadlines and pressure.
Excellent inter-personal communication skills and excellent organization skills
USAID project work experience is preferred
