THIS POSITION WILL BE BASED IN THE COUNTRY OF THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WITHIN THE LATIN AMERICA/CARIBBEAN REGION. ONLY CANDIDATES FROM WITHIN THIS REGION WILL BE CONSIDERED
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Provide technical expertise and advice in the area of Organizational Design that will enable the Latin America and Caribbean region to realign structures, processes, skills and staff, in order to fulfill its strategy, mission and goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
To develop frameworks and oversee implementation of Organizational Design projects in areas such as organizational structure; polices, systems and processes within the overall guidelines of P&C Regional Director. Enhance quality and efficiency across Latin America and Caribbean operations.Participates with multi discipline teams in order to contribute with technical expertise to assess current processes and structures and make recommendations. To provide consultancy and advisement to Regional Leadership in the area of organizational development.Ensure organizational structures are appropriate to support the achievement of strategies and goals.Systematizes organizational evaluations and of processes and structures in order to obtain operational models that can be replicated or escalated. To coordinate organizational re-design and structural modifications when necessary to present and recommend structural changes.Ensure the development and maintenance of LACR Organization Design by understanding the customer operations and best practice of workflows. Analyzes, Compiles and makes sure organizational structures of NO and RO are in place, have had an analysis process and have been approved by Regional Leadership Establish analysis for Organizational Processes to find cost-effective opportunities, identify inefficiencies and drive improvement through reorganizational programs and processes.Make proposals for new ways to work through Analysis, reports and Organizational Structures.Presents financial scenarios that show efficiencies between the different options.Contributes in the definition of KPIs and parameters for new models, units and functions. Review and as appropriate develop initiatives for change management support to organizational redesign to ensure all processes and functions are clearly owned organizational units.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
REQUIRED:
University degree in HR, Business or related field. Innovative and problem-solving skills and capacity to deliver under pressure; pragmatism; persistence. Able to translate strategic imperatives into tangible and relevant partnership and local outcomes. Strategic Planning, Integration and Execution Must be fluent and/or bilingual Spanish/English Strong interpersonal and communication skills Outstanding people and client relationship skills The incumbent accepts the World Vision ethos as stated in the Mission Statement and Core Values. Track record in Organizational Development and Design Five to ten years functional and related experience in relevant fields especially in business process analysis and design of workflows and processes Experienced in developing or reviewing complex, cross regional organizations and methodologies.
PREFERRED:
A relevant Masters degree would be desirable
