The job holder will be required to take full ownership of engagements assigned from planning, execution to completion phase. The responsibilities to be carried out by the successful candidate will include but are not limited to:
- taking responsibility for prospecting, proposal preparation and follow-up as well as managing client relationships on secured assignments;
- defining and agreeing assignment terms and scope in line with PwC standards and procedures
- taking responsibility for all aspects of engagement delivery including coaching and development of subordinate staff
- plan audit assignments, take ownership of the execution and completion
- manage relationships with clients, group auditors and internal and external specialists
- coach team members, supervise and review work and reports
- participate in various practice management and development activities.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience;
- A Bachelor degree in the Social Sciences or other relevant discipline
- Accounting qualification (either CPA (T) or ACCA)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Assurance (Audit) type of work in a multinational professional organisation.
- Excellent analytical skills and commercial expertise.
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate with empathy, have excellent business development and negotiation skills.
- Good leadership and management skills and project management skills.
