We are seeking dedicated and self motivated Boilermaker to join the Surface Maintenance Team at Tulawaka to take part in ensuring that preventive maintenance and accurate and timely feedback is provided to the mechanical supervisor on conditions that may affect Tulawaka assets’ functionality and aesthetic appearance.
Reporting Line: Surface Mechanical Supervisors
Location: Tulawaka Mine Site
Work Schedule: Rotational Status (6 Weeks on / 3 Weeks off)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
§ Nil lost time incidents and safe work environment.
§ Carry out quality work efficiently
§ Maintaining security perimeter wall
§ To carry out various tasks and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
§ Daily supervision and training of Tanzanian boilermakers
§ Construction of new projects for security department
§ Daily planning and reporting according to the maintenance management systems provided
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful applicants must have the following qualifications/skills:
§ Boilermaker and Platter Trade Certificate
§ A minimum of 5 years experience, A demonstrated ability to work within systems and a work-culture that ensures compliance to safe work procedures and quality work standards
§ Strong interpersonal skills with an uncompromising safety ethic
§ The ability to supervise and train less experienced trades’ people whilst on the job.
§ Good command of programs that will facilitate the reporting MS office computer skills These include Word, Excel, Pronto and Access or other database software
§ Good attention to details and analytical skills.
§ Enthusiastic and motivated outlook
