What you'll do:
- make sure WWF's communications output is integrated across different platforms, channels and media
- manage the work of the media officers and the public relations budget
- manage output and media relations at international conventions, meetings and events
- act as spokesperson for WWF when required
- ensure that media enquiries are dealt with promptly and efficiently
- lead on forward public relations planning and global output calendars
- develop relations with relevant news, online and social media
What you'll need:
- Degree in communications, media, journalism or related subject
- At least five years' relevant professional experience
- Proven success record in public relations, media relations or a related field
- Experience of working in an international environment
- Leadership and coordination skills
- Ability to deliver multiple simultaneous projects
- Articulate, creative, passionate, flexible and tenacious
- Excellent written and spoken English - other languages an advantage
- Attention to detail, diplomacy and discretion.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a multi-cultural environment.
- Interest in conservation and environmental issues.
