Role description
Responsible for innovation, project management, acquisition, usage, penetration and revenue generation through the services: Internet – IEW, Broadband, Messaging.
Key Responsibilities
1.1. Acquisition targets and Revenue Growth
Convergence Services Development
- Identify new Convergence Services innovations that are potential revenue enhancers or contributors to brand differentiation
- Define the specifications of new services / applications
- Source/ develop ideal Convergence Services partner/s for these services
Existing services
- Develop & Launch Convergence Services that is relevant for the various regions/ circles
- Monitor existing services, make the necessary tweaks and changes to ensure standards and revenue
- Draw up and adhere to a fixed Convergence Services calendar with special interest to Convergence Services for red letter days
- Measuring product performance and identification of key levers of improvement - including design and analysis of relevant reports
1.2. Innovation & Solution deployment
- Superior usability and Cutting edge advertising solutions
- Build product loyalty amongst customers
- Consistent development and improvement of strategically sound, actionable and targeted marketing business plans centred around Convergence Services marketing – Orange Office etc
- Develop and implement processes and tools necessary to deliver stretch forecasted revenue targets.
- Alerts customers to new or improved products/services
- Adherence and/or implementation of processes and tools necessary to deliver innovative marketing solutions
- Documented and updated processes current to three months
1.3. Financial Management & Reporting
- Ensure internal collaboration, team work development and implementation of key Management routines within the team
- Ensuring appropriate feedback is given to enhance business understanding
- Accurate and timely reporting on revenue performance & budget expenditure on a monthly basis
- Participate in regular review of Convergence revenue
- Manage the budget assigned to Convergence Services Marketing
1.4. Strategic Planning
- Create and implement marketing & go to market strategy for Orange Convergence Services
- Documented and approved strategies for Convergence Services marketing and revenue.
- Enhance product strategy through the development of new and innovative products/services through the use of the internet and portals
- Develop strategies for significantly increasing revenues from the product range through the greater use of existing products and the take up of new products.
1.5. Relationship Management

- Work with Convergence Services owners / partners to create relevant and innovative Convergence Services promotions within our medium as well as conventional media that can potentially enhance revenue or lead to brand differentiation
- Input Convergence Services details to circle VAS teams for localized promotions Relationship Management
- Ensure that Orange-Convergence Services partner relationships are healthy and mutually beneficial always
Education Background & Experience:
- Bachelors Degree or an advanced Diploma in a Business related field;
- 3 to 5 years hands on experience in Marketing Management and
- Excellent knowledge of Voice product management with specific focus on Voice charging systems.
Professional Knowledge:
- Significant skills in project management and co-ordination.
- Experience in evaluating and implementing new technologies.
- Business knowledge particularly cash flows & financial justifications.
- Experience in vendor management, vendor selection and negotiation.
- Proficiency in Computer packages (e.g. MS Office…)
Professional Skills:
- strong individual and leadership skills
- He/She will also possess qualities and characteristic of a person interested in management potential.
- He/She must have the ability to understand in depth Industry / solution and services requirements and think holistically and yet focus on specific areas as necessary
