Hope and Homes for Children is an international organization working to ensure that all children have the chance to grow up in the love of a family. We are leading experts in closing children's institutions and reforming childcare systems. Across Africa and Eastern Europe, we move children out of institutions and into family-based care, support families at risk of breakdown and prevent child abandonment and institutionalization. Active in Rwanda since 2001, Hope and Homes for Children aims to make Rwanda the first country in Africa to have properly reformed its child care system and be free from large-scale institutions.
Hope and Homes for Children is now seeking three exceptional candidates to lead its country program in Rwanda. With significant experience in development and NGO management, the successful candidates will have an excellent understanding of child rights and be committed to driving the organization forward. Each Senior Management Team post plays a leading role in the development and delivery of organizational strategy, program development and implementation.
Head of Program Development and Advocacy: Responsible for leading a new program of advocacy, policy and program development to increase our influence and position the organization as a knowledge hub for deinstitutionalization and child care reform. Includes managing policy analysis and advocacy, developing external communications and securing new resources.
We welcome applications from passionate, motivated and successful Rwandan nationals who are committed to leading the organization at this exciting point in its development.
