Position Responsibilities:
The Project Director will serve as the central point of contact for the USG and provide direct in-country management of this Associate Award. The Project Director is the designated lead of all activities and is the principal link between the Associate Award Recipient, the CTO, USAID, the Zambia USG HIV and AIDS team, the ROADS II Project and FHI/Zambia. A key responsibility will be managing communication among USAID/Zambia, ROADS II and FHI/Zambia to ensure clarity and effective collaboration. The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating all Associate Award activities, and for directing and assuring cost-effective results achievement. They will be responsible for the budget execution, accounting, engagement of sub-recipients, and reporting on all project activities in liaison with the FHI Country Office and ROADS II; serve as a technical member of the management team demonstrating significant technical experience relevant to the project scope of work.
Minimum Requirements:
BS/BA and 9-11 years relevant experience with international development programs and includes 3-5 years of supervisory experience, overseas field experience required; MS/MA in public health or related field and 7-9 years relevant experience with international development programs and includes 3-5 years of supervisory experience, overseas field experience required;
PhD/MD or equivalent degree and 5-7 years relevant experience with international development programs and includes 3-5 years of supervisory experience, overseas field experience required.
